Set to take place from June 4-17 with more than thirty restaurants already confirmed to participate, Coral Gables Restaurant Week 2012 is set to satisfy even the most discriminating palates. Now in its fifth year and presented by Bacardi U.S.A., Inc., and Jackson Family Estates, Coral Gables Restaurant Week gives foodies the chance to indulge in specially-priced, three course menus at an array of Coral Gables’ finest restaurants.

Coral Gables Restaurant Week menus feature the international flavor of participating restaurants’ signature dishes and represent savings of at least 20 percent off the regular menu prices. Participating restaurants this year thus far include Anacapri on Ponce, Angelique Euro Cafe, Angie’s World Cuisine, Bangkok Bangkok, Benihana, Caffe Abbracci, Caffe Vialetto, Cibo Wine Bar, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, Fritz & Franz Bierhaus, Gables Aragon Cuisine, John Martin’s Irish Pub & Restaurant, La Cofradia, La Dorada, La Taberna Giralda, Le Provencal, Mesa, Morton’s The Steakhouse, Ortanique on the Mile, Pardo’s Peruvian Cuisine, Randazzo’s Little Italy, Red Koi Thai & Sushi Lounge, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, Seasons 52, Spizzigo, Spris, Sushi Maki, Talavera Cocina Mexicana, Tarpon Bend Raw Bar & Grill, The Dome, The Globe, and The Local.

For two weeks, participating restaurants will offer special three-course lunch and dinner menus and guests (21 years of age and older) will have the opportunity to try the Original BACARDI Mojito Cocktail or a suggested glass of wine presented by Jackson Family Estates.

Restaurant Week menus are available for both lunch and dinner depending on the restaurant, and are now available online at www.coralgablesrestaurantweek.com and on www.opentable.com as well. Advance reservations are recommended as many restaurants book completely during this popular promotion.

CORAL GABLES, FL – May 7, 2012 – It is time once again to vote for the best dish in Coral Gables. Presented by Bacardi U.S.A., Inc. and the Jackson Family Estates, “Taste of the Gables” will take place on Thursday, May 31, 2012 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Westin Colonnade Hotel, located at 180 Aragon Avenue, Coral Gables, FL 33134. Event-goers will be able to sample tastings from 20 Downtown Coral Gables restaurants and cast their votes for the best “Taste of the Gables.” Tickets will be available soon at www.coralgablesrestaurantweek.com.

“We are thrilled to be celebrating our fifth year. Anticipation is mounting as participating restaurants anxiously prepare for what will no doubt be our best event ever,” stated Mari Gallet, Executive Director of the Business Improvement District of Coral Gables.

Advance tickets are $25, include tastings and one free cocktail, and can be purchased online at www.coralgablesrestaurantweek.com. VIP tickets, including access to upgraded dining and drink options in the 1862 Room, are available for $50 per person and will be limited to the first 100 patrons. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to United Way of Miami-Dade County. Advance tickets are highly recommended as the event sells out quickly, and on the day of the event, will increase to $30 and $65 for General Admission and VIP, respectively.

Hungry and discerning foodies of Coral Gables cuisine can dive back in for the Fifth Annual Coral Gables’ Restaurant Week which kicks off on Monday, June 4 and runs until Sunday, June 17. Presented by Bacardi U.S.A., Inc. and the Jackson Family Estates, the two-week event promises to deliver a savory blend of the city’s signature flavors.

Restaurants will be offering a variety of special three-course lunch and dinner promotions with savings of at least 20 percent off the regular menu prices, and ranging from $17 to $49 per person.
